Decoy Cold Waters

Distance to Decoy. When you evade torpedoes and shoot a decoy, get yourself at least 6000 yards away from the decoy to avoid any torpedoes picking you up when they go after the decoy.

You have decoy countermeasures, USE them. In my 2018 game-play both in North Atlantic and South China Sea I used decoys very little, this baffles me (no pun intended) because why do you carry decoys if you're not going to use them, spam away decoy after decoy that is why they are there for. Maybe launch a decoy, do hard turn knuckles and loop this until you're evaded the torpedoes.

MOSS decoy torpedo is the same way, if you get shot by more than two torpedoes then just immediately launch it, two if possible for left and right directions from your sub. That will surely confuse enemy and his torpedoes.

Please note that with Los Angeles class submarine you only have four torbedo tubes, you must balance the need for decoy(s) as if you load one then you are limited to three offensive weapons, either torpedoes or Harpoons, if you load two decoys, well then you're 50/50 on the defensive and offensive weaponry. I personally never load two decoys in Los Angeless class sub, it just reduces my offensive capability too much. On Seawolf however, yeah there you have much more torpedo tubes to use so having two decoys loaded is no problem.
